            The Master's Degree in Psychological and Social Assessment is aimed at the professional development of university graduates interested in developing scientific research projects that contribute to solving problems caused by methodological deficits in the technical instruments of a psychological and social nature concerning the study of variables related to the health and illness of the population, individually, in groups, in the community, or institutionally.

            The program satisfies social, cultural, and primarily ethical needs. The master's program lasts 2 years and has a teaching team of high scientific-technical and professional level. The fundamental axis of its proposal is research, and all courses contribute to this.

            The structure of the study plan includes:

            1. Theoretical-methodological training activities: 14 compulsory courses and optional courses, from which one must be chosen.

            2. The fundamental activity of the master's degree comprises three stages dedicated to the research project and its development, including three thesis workshops, guidance on preparing an article for a scientific journal and a presentation to be presented at a scientific event; and finally, in the third workshop, the presentation and defense of the thesis before a tribunal.

            The Master's in Psychological and Social Assessment has knowledge, skills, and ethical-moral values ​​that enable them to plan and develop research whose results contribute to decision-making and the implementation of health treatment, improvement, promotion policies, and others for which research results and psychological instruments are valuable.

            Duration: two years.
