The University of Medical Sciences of Havana, the Postgraduate Studies and Research Center of the Hermanos Ameijeiras Clinical-Surgical Hospital, and the Cuban Medical Services Commercialization Company (CSMC) are pleased to announce the online course “Colorectal Cancer Update”, a high-level educational offering aimed at health professionals.

The course will be delivered in Spanish and is designed for specialists in Coloproctology, General Surgery, and General Medicine. Its goal is to provide updated knowledge and strengthen practical skills for the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients with colorectal cancer, one of the leading causes of cancer-related morbidity worldwide.

The lead professor is Dr. C María Elena González Solares, a renowned specialist in Coloproctology with advanced degrees in Infectious Diseases, Medical Education, and Bioethics, and a PhD in Medical Sciences. She is a Full Professor and Senior Researcher with an extensive academic and clinical background.

The course lasts 5 weeks and provides 7 academic credits.
