The Organizing Committee of the II International Medical and Wellness Tourism Fair (FITSaludCuba) is pleased to invite you to participate in the 2nd International Seminar on Medical and Wellness Tourism, one of the main activities of FITSaludCuba, which will take place during the 16th edition of the "Health for All" Trade Fair in Havana, from April 21 to 24, 2025.

This event aims to promote the development of the medical and wellness tourism industry in Cuba by fostering the exchange of knowledge and experiences among researchers, professionals, and business leaders. Key topics in this sector will be addressed, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and global trends.

Date, time, and location of the seminar: Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 10:00 to 16:30, and Thursday, April 24, from 10:00 to 13:00, at the FITSaludCuba stand launch area at Pabexpo.

    Innovative achievements in science for the service of Health Tourism.
    Health Tourism management.
    Partnerships for the development of Health Tourism.
    Global trends in the Health Tourism market.
    Sustainable Health Tourism.
    Health Tourism and addiction rehabilitation.
    Medical Tourism and insurance.
    Wellness Tourism.
    International marketing and e-commerce.
    Other topics relevant to the seminar's objectives.

Forms and participation modalities:

I. In-person

    1. Speaker invited by the FITSaludCuba Organizing Committee.
    2. Panelist invited by the Seminar’s Scientific Committee.
    3. Presenter. This category includes authors of works selected by the Seminar’s Scientific Committee to present their papers to the plenary session.
    4. Participant with the right to intervene before the plenary with brief questions and comments.

II. Virtual

    5. Presenter. This category includes authors of works (pre-recorded presentations or    posters) selected by the Seminar’s Scientific Committee to be published on the event’s virtual platform.
    6. Participant with the right to intervene online via the chat room to make brief questions and comments.

All forms and modes of participation will be accredited by the National Council of Scientific Societies of Health of the Republic of Cuba, through a diploma issued in digital format.

Submission of works: To submit your works to the Seminar's Scientific Committee, participants must register on the event’s virtual platform (https://cubasalud.sld.cu/). The submission deadline is extended until February 28, 2025. The guidelines for the presentation and publication of works will follow those of the “Cuba Salud 2025” International Convention. Works that meet the formal and quality admission requirements will be compiled and published as part of the Congress Proceedings, unless the authors request otherwise.

Participation requirements: To attend the seminar, it is essential to be registered in one of the participation modalities at FITSaludCuba and have paid the corresponding registration fee. For more information on the registration process, please contact eventos@smcsalud.cu.
