Oncology Nursing, an essential branch within the nursing field, is dedicated to the care and attention of patients with cancer and their families. Nurses specialized in oncology play a crucial role in the treatment and support of those facing this disease.

What does our Master's in Oncology Nursing program offer?

Designed for nursing professionals working with oncology patients across all three levels of healthcare, this master's program provides a unique opportunity to deepen knowledge and skills necessary in this field. Some highlights of the program include:

Oncology Nursing Research: Participants will explore issues related to oncology nursing, building upon a deep scientific understanding of anatomy, associated diseases, diagnosis, treatment, and the application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in nursing processes.

Health Promotion and Prevention of Risk Factors: The program focuses on health promotion and prevention of oncological diseases. Students will learn strategies to reduce risk factors and improve the quality of life for patients.

Program Duration and Structure: The master's program has a duration of 2 years, with a part-time focus. Participants will dedicate a total of 2760 hours, distributed as 396 hours of lectures and 2364 hours of independent work. A maximum of 98 credits and a minimum of 92 credits are awarded for mandatory activities, with the possibility of earning up to 6 additional elective credits.

Teaching Experience and Regulations: Professors, experienced in creating and disseminating scientific literature, are prepared to guide students in their academic and professional development.
