The Ciego Montero medicinal mineral spa is located in the center of the Cienfuegos province, about 1.5 km north-northwest of the Arriete – Ciego Montero popular council, approximately 15 km north of the municipal capital (Palmira) and 25 km north-northeast of the city of Cienfuegos.

It consists of a group of small buildings, with a central building containing 24 rooms, a restaurant, cafeteria, swimming pools, reception, offices, and a warehouse.

Its exterior features five small buildings (Department of Psychology, Physiotherapy, Games Room, and the old swing and water jet area, as well as the Carabaña and Santa Lucía water spring).

The characteristics of its waters make it especially attractive, distinguished by being Chlorinated – Sodic – Sulphated - Calcic, as well as by possessing different temperatures.
