This academic program, with a systemic-structural approach, will be carried out over three years in a full-time modality, requiring the resident’s in-person attendance for training within the healthcare services of accredited adult clinical-surgical hospitals authorized for postgraduate education. It is organized into clinical placements and rotations across various surgical specialties, which contribute at different stages of the training process. In all of them, the professional component of comprehensive medical-surgical care is integrated with academic, research, and management activities.
