The first-degree specialist in Imaging will receive solid professional training that enables them to understand, assess, and transform the health status of individuals, with a scientific approach to the health–disease process and its biopsychosocial nature.

Competencies integrate the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of professionals, which are considered essential to developing high-quality professional practice. These must be acquired during education in the workplace, within the different services established for imaging teaching and through rotations in other levels and institutions of the health system.
