This academic program, with a systemic structural approach, will be developed over four years, with a full-time dedication modality and a degree of in-person attendance by the resident, for their training in the health services of adult clinical surgical hospitals, accredited for postgraduate teaching, organized in the form of stays and rotations through certain surgical specialties that participate at different times of the training process, in all of them linking the labor component of comprehensive medical-surgical care with the academic, the investigative, and the management components. Therefore, they are finally structured into areas of knowledge, distributed and dosed in 23 modules, in which related contents are grouped by themes, knowledge, and skills to be achieved by the resident, with a high level of skill and depth, organized with a systems approach, gaining in increasing complexity and integration.
