Characterization of the profession: The Bachelor's Degree in Optometry and Optics has as its object of work the optical - optometric technological procedures for the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of visual function alterations.
It is aimed at training professionals prepared to develop within the multidisciplinary health team in the prevention, detection, evaluation and treatment of visual function alterations, by performing visual and ocular examinations, as well as designing, verifying and adapting optical compensation devices, developing visual training programs.
The graduate is capable of performing teaching, research and technical-administrative functions.
Duration: 4 years.
