In an initiative to promote foreign investment in Cuba, our company has held today the first edition of the Forum for the Promotion of the Portfolio of Opportunities for Foreign Investment in the Health Sector.
The event, which took place at the prestigious Meliá Habana Hotel, brought together more than 30 representatives of the diplomatic service accredited in Cuba, trade and foreign investment promotion agencies, as well as associations of foreign entrepreneurs in the country. It was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment (Mincex), the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap), ProCuba and the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba.
Opening remarks were made by Idalberto Aparicio González, Director of Foreign Investment Control of the Mincex, who highlighted the strategic importance of this event to strengthen trade relations and promote foreign investment in the country.
One of the highlights of the afternoon was the intervention of Dr. Yamila de Armas Aguila, President of CMSC, S.A., who addressed the strategies and opportunities that Cuba offers to foreign investors in the exportable area of the health sector, generating a fruitful debate among the participants.
Also relevant was the panel dedicated to Foreign Investment Opportunities in the exporting sector of Health in Cuba. During this segment, the International Health Centers "El Yarey" and "El Quinqué", as well as the San Diego de los Baños Thermal Center were presented, highlighting their value in the Cuban health panorama and the opportunities for foreign investment in these institutions.
The forum not only served as a platform for the presentation of investment opportunities, but also as a valuable space for networking. This event marks a significant step in encouraging foreign investment in international healthcare services in Cuba, reaffirming our company's commitment to economic development and international collaboration in this crucial field.
