These services are supported by the multidisciplinary and comprehensive work of the Cuban Cardiopediatric Network, made up of internationally recognized specialists. Among the institutions that make up the National Health System in Cuba, the William Soler Pediatric Hospital in Havana, a national reference in the treatment of cardiology and pediatric cardiovascular surgery with more than 35 years of experience, stands out for the services offered by its Children's Cardiocenter in the treatment of traditional ailments typical of this specialty, in addition to the diagnosis and surgical corrections of congenital heart diseases.
These innovative procedures, in a medical area that is deficient in other parts of the world, guarantee fewer risks and complications for the patient, greater survival and shorter hospital stays.
